Simple pork chops

Description

Easy to cook pork chops

Ingredients

  • Pork chops, can be bone in or boneless. Any thickness is fine too (adjust cooking time accordingly)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Barbecue sauce (I use Sweet Baby Rays)

Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the pork with salt and pepper
  2. Heat up a pan on high heat with cooking oil (high heat oil like grapeseed or avocado oil)
  3. Fry the pork until it is cooked (internal temp of 145 ºF). For a 2 cm thick bone-in pork chop, I need around 7-10 minutes on each side. Boneless chops will cook faster and more evenly. For a 1cm boneless pork chop, it is around 3 - 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Once cooked, slather with Worcestershire and/or barbecue sauce to your liking. Sear for around 1 - 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Enjoy!
