Ingredients
Salmon fillet with skin on
Make sure to thoroughly dry the salmon
Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Season the salmon with salt and pepper, or with your preferred seasonings, if desired.
Preheat a stainless steel pan over high heat.
Add a neutral high heat oil like grapeseed or avocado oil.
Add the salmon skin side down. For the first 30 seconds, press down gently on the salmon with a spatula so it doesn't curl up.
Turn the heat down to medium-low and cook for an additional 6 minutes.
Flip and cook for 30 seconds.
Serve with fresh lemon juice or your favorite sauce! I like to use a honey soy sauce glaze.
