Description
A delicious korean side dish! Enjoy cold or hot.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets of fish cakes, cut into strips
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced (around 50g)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Some bell peppers, thinly sliced (around 50g)
- Green onions, chopped (as topping)
- Sesame Seeds (as topping)
- Any other vegetables as you desire. Thinly sliced carrots are a good option.
- Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1 teaspoon gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - add more/less depending on spice level
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions
- In a pan, heat up some oil on medium heat. Fry your onions and garlic for 1 - 2 minutes.
- Add your fish cakes and continue to cook for around 3 - 5 minutes (until fish cakes are cooked).
- Add your vegetables such as bell peppers / carrots. Cook for around 1 minute or until desired doneness.
- Add in your sauce mixture. Continue cooking for around 1 - 2 minutes.
- Top with green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy! Enjoy cold as well!
