Ingredients
- 1 cup white (Jasmine) rice
- 1 cup water
- [Optional] Dash of salt and pepper
This is for white (Jasmine) rice. Other rice, such as brown rice, need different cooking times!
If you want to make more rice, simply increase the ingredients proportionally. For example, to cook 2 cups of rice, use 2 cups of water.
Instructions
- Rinse the rice until it is not cloudy anymore.
- Drain thoroughly and add to instant pot. Add 1 cup of water. Add salt and pepper if desired.
- Pressure cook on high for 2 minutes. Natural release for 8 minutes.
Note: I am using a 6 qt instant pot.
